The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the financial stability and growth of the company.

Working towards implementing high operational standards and to establish accounting efficiencies across the organization and delivers consistent and accurate financial information.
What you will do
· Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger.
· Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets.
· Analyze financial data and provide insights to the senior management team.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial standards.
· Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
· Manage the company's cash flow, including forecasting and planning for future needs.
· Coordinate with external auditors, bankers, lenders, and tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
· Provide guidance and support to other departments on financial matters.
· Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to ensure the long-term financial health of the company.
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
· 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools, Jonas Construction preferred.
· Knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting requirements
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
Schedule:
Shift: Day Shift
Location: Concord
Work Time: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Work Term: Full Time Permanent position
